Some members may ask coaches and front-desk staff about medical weight management. You are not clinicians, so you cannot answer, and you should not. Without a trusted option to point to, people may look for one on their own.

What LeanPathMD is

A physician-guided weight management program we are building. A licensed clinician will review each person's health history and decide whether treatment is appropriate. Nothing is promised, and some people may be told it is not right for them.

We have not opened yet. This pilot is how we open well.

How it works for a member

  1. Step 1

    Tell us about your health

    Answer a short, private questionnaire about your history, goals and current medicines.

  2. Step 2

    A licensed clinician reviews it

    A clinician licensed in your state reviews your answers and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you.

  3. Step 3

    Your plan, if appropriate

    If treatment is appropriate, your clinician explains the options, risks and costs before you decide anything.

  4. Step 4

    Ongoing check-ins

    You stay in touch with your care team, who can adjust or stop treatment as needed.

  • Do not give medical advice or discuss treatment. Send every health question to us.
  • Use only the wording we provide when you describe the program.
  • Tell your members that you have a partnership with LeanPathMD whenever you share the link.

Your members' privacy

You never see a member's health information. Partner reports will show only how many people used your link and how many joined, never who they are or what they discussed.

Working together: the pilot

  • A 90-day pilot with a small group of partners.
  • A tracked link for your studio and a monthly summary of link activity.
  • A short written partner agreement before anything goes live.
  • We expect the agreement to have no exclusivity and to let you stop at any time.

Your training, classes, nutrition coaching and community stay yours, and so does your relationship with your members. People who start a medical program often want structured training and nutrition support. That relationship is yours.
